Genesee has won six straight games at home, while Potlatch has won six straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will host the Loggers at 4:30 p.m. Genesee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 16.1 runs per game this season.
Genesee proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 28) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Orofino 7-6. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Maniacs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Kendra Meyer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kaylee Krick, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Baysinger, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Genesee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orofino only posted a batting average of .250.
Meanwhile, Potlatch's hitters rose to the challenge against a Bulldogs pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.64 runs allowed on Thursday. The Loggers put the hurt on Genesee with a sharp 12-6 win. Considering the Loggers have won six games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Brieanna Winther tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Jaida Andres was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Kylie Heitstuman was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles.
Potlatch's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Genesee, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Genesee has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Potlatch struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Genesee suffered a grim 12-6 defeat to Potlatch in their previous meeting on Thursday. Will the Bulldogs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
