A well-balanced attack led Jayhawk Linn over Oswego in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Jayhawk Linn enjoyed a cozy 44-27 win over Oswego. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to post seven more assists than your opponent, as Jayhawk Linn did.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jayhawk Linn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryton Spencer, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Spencer has scored all season. Reed Krull was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Southeast scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They snuck past Altoona-Midway with a 60-54 victory. The win was just what Southeast needed coming off of a 61-40 loss in their prior contest.
Jayhawk Linn's record is now 4-7. Southeast's record now sits at 4-7.
Things could have been worse for Jayhawk Linn, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-41 loss to Southeast when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Jayhawk Linn avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
