Despite the loss, Toll Gate still got an impressive performance from Brayden Healey, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Healey has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Perreault, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds.
Toll Gate bumped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Johnston, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Toll Gate won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Tolman at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Tolman presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Toll Gate in Rhode Island (Tolman is ranked fourth, while Toll Gate is ranked 49th). As for Johnston, they will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Lincoln's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
