The Skyline Spartans won the last time they faced the Interlake Saints, and things went their way on Monday too. Skyline was the clear victor by a 62-42 margin over Interlake.
Interlake's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harper Moore, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Cammy Roed was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
The victory got Skyline back to even at 1-1. As for Interlake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Skyline will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastlake at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Eastlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Tuesday. As for Interlake, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Washington at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
