There's no place like home for The Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 16-13 victory over Palo Alto on Friday.
Loss or not, Palo Alto got some senior leadership from Jason Auzenne who picked up 170 receiving yards and two touchdowns and Declan Packer who threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt.
Hillsdale's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Palo Alto, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsdale will square off against King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palo Alto, they will head out on the road to face off against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Homestead is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
