San Benito has not lost a match since January 6th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. San Benito and La Joya ended up with a point apiece after a 2-2 draw. That draw made it three straight for San Benito.

Meanwhile, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo didn't get the result they wanted in their first matchup with Progreso on Friday. They put up a good fight, but they still had to settle for second after a 2-1 loss on Friday. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
With that draw, San Benito's record moves to 4-2-3. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
