Hamilton Southeastern's win came from a few key players Brownsburg will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Maverick Young, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 18 points. What's more, he also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Braeden Totton, who went 6-for-9 en route to 16 points and three steals.
Hamilton Southeastern's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10. Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Brownsburg has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 22 boards per game. However, it's not like Hamilton Southeastern struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.4 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Brownsburg won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in February of 2024, slipping by Hamilton Southeastern 51-50. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Totton, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 22 points. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Brownsburg still be able to contain Totton? There's only one way to find out.
