Carter Reis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Orlando Christian Prep has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .467. However, it's not like Mainland struggles in that department as they've averaged .465. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Orlando Christian Prep might still be hurting after the 18-4 defeat they got from Mainland when the teams last played back in March. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
