Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lamar). They were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over the Sam Houston Texans on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Vikings with their most commanding win of the season.

Lamar is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Sam Houston, they dropped their record down to 6-18 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
