With a playoff win on the line, South Greene rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles, sneaking past  3-2. The  victory was familiar territory for the Rebels, who have now won three  matches in a row.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day South Greene got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 17-25, 25-22, 15-25,  15-12.
 When it comes to explaining why Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts lost, don't look at  Chloe Chapman. Despite the final result, she  had 14  digs and two  aces. Chapman has been hot recently, having also posted 16 or more  assists the last three times she's  played.
South Greene's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, their loss  ended  a  ten-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 28-13.
 Looking ahead, South Greene will face off against Gibson County on Tuesday. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
