Payton Odom was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
