The Sissonville Indians will face off against the PikeView Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sissonville will be strutting in after a victory while PikeView will be coming in after a loss.
Sissonville came out on top against Lincoln County on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run sixth inning. The Indians walked away with an 8-4 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

| 04/11/25 @ Independence | 1 |
The team relied heavily on Layne Coffman, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Barrett Van Camp, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Sissonville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln County only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, PikeView was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-9 heartbreaker at the hands of Independence. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly two runs.
Eli Naylor was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because PikeView is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-7 otherwise. Naylor was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
In other batting news, Landon Bolen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Landon Wyatt was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Sissonville's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for PikeView, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Everything went Sissonville's way against PikeView when the teams last played last Friday, as Sissonville made off with a 9-1 victory. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
