It was a good run, but the Dora Bulldogs unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a hard 63-46 fall against Fultondale. Dora lost against Fultondale in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 69-47 score last time.
Dora's loss came despite strong showings from Collin Abrom and Maddix Harrison. Abrom scored 14 points along with 5 steals, while Harrison scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds. Abrom scored a full 30.4% of Dora's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Dora's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Fultondale, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dora's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Oakman at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Oakman is ranked 96th, while Dora is ranked 117th). As for Fultondale, they will be playing at home against Altamont at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
