The Pamlico County Hurricanes lost against the West Craven Eagles back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pamlico County was outmatched by West Craven at home and fell 64-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pamlico County has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Pamlico County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dania Galvan-Veliz. Despite the final result, she scored five points.
Pamlico County bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for West Craven, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pamlico County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against West Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on December 13th. Hopefully West Carteret focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 37 on Monday. West Craven will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ayden - Grifton at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th.
