Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Windham). They blew past the Thornton Academy Trojans 12-1 on Friday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Kennedy Kimball made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. She also scored a run, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Chloe Edwards was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Stella Jarvais, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
