The Franklin Sabers posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They blew past Racine Case 68-41 on the road. Given Franklin's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Racine Case is ranked 259th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Franklin to victory were Rachael Jepsen and Lauren Capstran. Jepsen scored 17 points along with seven rebounds, while Capstran scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ella Gromowski, who scored 12 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Franklin and bumps their season record up to 10-7. As for Racine Case, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
Franklin will be playing at home against Racine Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Racine Case, they will head out on the road to square off against Kenosha Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kenosha Bradford will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
