Mumford came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the McDade Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Mustangs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).
Mumford walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-10.
Nancy Galvan was the offensive standout of the game as she had 13 digs and one assist.
Mumford was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive contests.
