Florence Christian can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game last Friday. They took down Dillon Christian 42-27. Florence Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Florence Christian found their leader in underclassman Emerson Poston, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Poston has scored at least 25% of Florence Christian's points. Karley Hickson was another key contributor, scoring five points along with three steals.
Charleston Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Florence Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
