Clinton County came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Cooper Jaguars. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Clinton County's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Cooper, they moved to 4-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Clinton County will challenge Monroe County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cooper, they will face off against Boone County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
