Wylie is 2-8 against Sachse since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wylie Pirates will be playing at home against the Sachse Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Wylie will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Wylie can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They never let Naaman Forest onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory.
Wylie was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Logan Montgomery and
Mahey Mohammed, who scored all three of Wylie's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 13 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Sachse was able to grind out a solid win over Garland on Friday, taking the game 3-1.
Wylie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Sachse, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-1.
