 Canisius lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Johnny Esposito, who  scored 14 points along with two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Mark Macdonald, who  scored 12 points.
 Bishop Timon-St. Jude pushed their record up to 21-2 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Canisius, their defeat  ended  an  11-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 20-3.
