Sidney Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Alek Doty
Alek Doty's big game helped extend Sidney's winning streak to six on Friday. Doty rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 121 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Sidney pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Doty and Sidney will take on Chase County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Quinn Bailey's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his 13th-straight game with 140+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 286 yards.

Bailey rushed for 346 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 37 receiving yards the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in October of 2023.

While Alliance couldn't topple Lexington on Friday, it's impossible to ignore the impact made by underclassman Trini Trejo. Nobody could stop Trejo as he rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
