Lewisburg won the last time they faced Midd-West and things went their way on Friday too. The Green Dragons took their matchup with ease, bagging a 35-7 victory over the Mustangs. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Green Dragons considering their seven-point performance the game before.

A big part of Lewisburg's win came down to the chemistry between Xavier Carter and his top target Jaylen Walker. Carter threw for 197 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes while Walker picked up 149 receiving yards and three scores. Walker got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 76 yards.

One reason for the win was Lewisburg's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 3.5 sacks. Mitchell Lorenz was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up 2.5 himself. Lewisburg got some further help from David Bozella: he picked up 0.5 sacks and made 11 total tackles (1.5 for loss).

Lewisburg's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Midd-West, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Lewisburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-0 defeat against Shamokin Area on the 10th. As for Midd-West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 47-0 loss against Milton on the 10th.
