Braydon Hawes was the offensive standout of the game as he almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 9 assists, and 9 blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Springport's points. Another player making a difference was Jake Kregel, who scored 14 points.
Vandercook Lake's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Springport, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Vandercook Lake will be playing at home against Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springport, they will head out on the road to face off against Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
