Lee Park Prep's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the HOPE Academy Royals. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-12.

Emma Shulenberger paced Lee Park Prep's offense, picking up 11 kills. Shulenberger got some help from Addison Swann and her 11 assists. Shulenberger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-8. As for HOPE Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3.

Coming up, Lee Park Prep will head out to challenge Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for HOPE Academy, they will host Concord Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
