The Pirates put the hurt on the Redskins with a sharp  48-28 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won three contests by 20  points or more  so far this season.
Meanwhile,  Trumann played a tough  game  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were  outmatched by Highland and fell  60-14. The Wildcats have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Gosnell will have to contain  Arzell Rulford as he made an impact in Trumann's last game. He rushed for 147 yards and one  TD on only nine carries. Rulford really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 70-yard run.
 Gosnell's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Trumann, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Gosnell took their  victory against Trumann  when the teams last played  back in October of 2024 by a conclusive  38-14 score. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Wildcats'  Tony Postell Jr, who rushed for 152 yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
