The Jefferson Yellowjackets''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 28-15 to Winterset. Jefferson has struggled against Winterset recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Fujii, who threw for 347 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Dewaele also helped out as he racked up 109 receiving yards.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Winterset, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-6.
Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Winterset is also done with their season.
