The Children's Village Hawks 's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight defeat. They took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenburgh-North Castle. Children's Village has not had much luck with Greenburgh-North Castle recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Children's Village lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Makai Webster, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mansura Choi, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks.
Children's Village has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Greenburgh-North Castle, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
Children's Village does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenburgh-North Castle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montfort Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
