Morgan Maske made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The victory was the seventh in a row for Clearwater, bringing their record up to 18-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Seminole, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
Looking ahead, Clearwater will take on Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tornadoes 3.6, the Warriors 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Seminole does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
