After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Curtis, The Wagner Falcons were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 24-14 victory over Kennedy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wagner also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.
Although Kennedy took the loss, they still got scores from Kenneth Deleon and Edward Oppong wireko.
Wagner is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wagner will take on Port Richmond at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Port Richmond will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Kennedy, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against New Dorp at 12:00 p.m.
