Baseball Game Preview: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Washington Rams

For the second straight game, Copper Canyon will face off against Washington. The Aztecs will head out to take on the Rams at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Copper Canyon has three straight victories, Washington has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Monday, Copper Canyon got the win against Washington by a conclusive 11-3. The Aztecs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

Copper Canyon let Gabriel Ruelas and Jesus Vega run wild. Ruelas went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Vega scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Ruelas a new career-high. Anthony Acosta Livas also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
