Connor Lueker Delivers Electric Performance Vs Ganado
Starting off the list is Round Valley's Connor Lueker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lueker rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Those 149 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Round Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Lueker and Round Valley will face off against Fountain Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Barnard As Fountain Hills Fell 49-29
Fountain Hills was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Sam Barnard did his best to prevent it. Barnard turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 162 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Fountain Hills is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. Barnard and Fountain Hills will challenge Round Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kyle Clark Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Round Valley got the W thanks in part to Kyle Clark playing the best football he has all season. Clark rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
If the past is any indication, Clark could be in store for another big game when he takes on Fountain Hills on Friday. Clark rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 31 receiving yards the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jonny Mcanerny Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Jonny McAnerny posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He forced a fumble and made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss). He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 66 yards.
The win (which was Payson's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. McAnerny and Payson will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Show Low at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Show Low was led to victory by Alexander Anderson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Anderson rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 62 yards.
Show Low's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. Anderson and Show Low will face off against Blue Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
