The Potlatch Loggers's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-39 win over St. Maries. That's another feather in the cap for Potlatch, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Lumberjacks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brenna Elliott, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Raevyn Yearout, who scored 6 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals.
The victory got Potlatch back to even at 1-1. As for St. Maries, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potlatch will take on Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Maries, they will be playing at home against Wallace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
