The Notre Dame Catholic Lancers's six-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They walked away with a 35-27 win over West Haven. This was payback for Notre Dame Catholic, who suffered a 39-31 loss the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Notre Dame Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Arianna Kedersha, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Madison Gibbs, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Notre Dame Catholic's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11. As for West Haven, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notre Dame Catholic will challenge Brookfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookfield will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. West Haven will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Wilbur Cross at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Wilbur Cross is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
