Colton Zacher made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Eli Bebleh was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also launched a home run, marking his first of the season.
Verrado lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.
