Valor Christian scored on a
Christian McCaffrey touchdown run, a touchdown run by McCaffrey and an
A.J. Cecil touchdown pass to
Marcus Wilson in the quarter.
The lead that VC took on a McCaffrey touchdown run with 10:00 remaining in the first quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.
With the win the Highlands Ranch school extended its winning streak to six games. Valor Christian defeated Doherty 42-6 last week.
The Eagles went into the matchup giving up only 8.7 points per game. Palmer's zero points were below their season average of 6.9 per game.
Valor Christian also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 58-7.
