They took a 50-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Victory Christian Academy has struggled against City of Life Christian Academy recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Victory Christian Academy had strong showings from Bianca Barroso, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Isabella Silva, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Mount Dora Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Calvary Christian Academy 63-27 on the road. Mount Dora Christian Academy pushed the score to 50-17 by the end of the third, a deficit Calvary Christian Academy had no chance of recovering from.
Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.
