The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Vitiello, who had 12 digs and seven kills.
Yorktown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Mahopac, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Yorktown was able to grind out a solid win over Mahopac in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Yorktown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
