De Kalb was sadly handed a loss on Tuesday, but Kaydee Brown did her best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Brown was still locked in as she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up five earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Brown and De Kalb will be playing at home against Liberty-Eylau at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
