The Coast Union Broncos had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Maricopa 50-19 at home. The victory was just what Coast Union needed coming off of a 66-21 defeat in their prior game.
Despite the defeat, Maricopa had strong showings from Aidan Roa, who scored 6 points along with 3 blocks, and Diego Rivera, who scored 4 points along with 7 steals. Roa scored a full 31.6% of Maricopa's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Michael Grysko, who scored 3 points along with 5 rebounds.
Coast Union's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Maricopa, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Coast Union won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Santa Maria at 5:00 p.m. on December 6th. Santa Maria has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Maricopa, they will head out on the road to face off against Shandon at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
