The Beresford Watchdogs were the 55-44 winner over the Baltic Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Beresford was beaten by Baltic 74-38 on Friday.
Jack Erickson had an outrageously good game for Baltic as he scored 34 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Mark Ditter, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Beresford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Baltic, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Beresford will be playing in front of their home fans against Dakota Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Dakota Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Baltic, they will head out on the road to face off against Parker at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
