Hannah-Pamplico is 1-8 against Green Sea Floyds since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Hannah-Pamplico Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Green Sea Floyds Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Hannah-Pamplico came up short against Lamar and fell 50-42.
Meanwhile, Green Sea Floyds' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 48-23 walloping at the hands of Lake View. Green Sea Floyds was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-11.
Despite the loss, Green Sea Floyds saw an underclassman step up: Janyrah Mccleod scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shantavia Hilliard, who scored four points.
Hannah-Pamplico's defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-13. As for Green Sea Floyds, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Hannah-Pamplico was able to grind out a solid victory over Green Sea Floyds in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 44-32. Will Hannah-Pamplico repeat their success, or does Green Sea Floyds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
