Basketball Recap: Richland Has No Trouble Against Enderlin

Richland won the last time they faced Enderlin and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Richland Colts' way against the Enderlin Eagles as the Richland Colts made off with a 48-28 victory. That looming 48-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Colts yet this season.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aspyn Schlecht, who posted 11 points and six boards. Schlecht is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Maasjo, who earned six points.

Richland's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Enderlin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Looking ahead, Richland is taking a road trip to square off against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wyndmere/Lidgerwood will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Richland surely won't give up without a fight. Enderlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
