On Friday Forest Grove will take on Hood River Valley at 7:00 PM. Hood River Valley will be strutting in after a win while Forest Grove will be stumbling in from a loss.
Forest Grove might have drawn first blood against St. Helens last Friday, but it was St. Helens who got the last laugh. Forest Grove lost to St. Helens by a decisive 21-41 margin. That makes it the first time this season Forest Grove have let down their home crowd.
Meanwhile, Hood River Valley put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts as the team secured a 51-13 victory. The rankings were on Hood River Valley's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
The last time the two teams met, Forest Grove won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Hood River Valley 22-21. Will Forest Grove repeat their success, or does Hood River Valley have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
