Goodrich came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Adams Highlanders by a score of 7-2. For the Martians, this counts as revenge for the 5-3 win the Highlanders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
Jayden Gohs made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances.
