Cedar Vale/Dexter has been on the road for five straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Argonia Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Vale/Dexter will be strutting in after a victory while the Red Raiders will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Cedar Vale/Dexter earned a 50-41 win over the Wildcats.
Meanwhile, Argonia ended up a good deal behind the Raiders on Tuesday and lost 68-53. Argonia has not had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Filippo Leonardi, who scored 20 points along with two steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Morrison, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Cedar Vale/Dexter pushed their record up to 7-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Argonia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Everything went Cedar Vale/Dexter's way against the Red Raiders when the teams last played back in February of 2020 as the Spartans made off with a 56-30 win. Will Cedar Vale/Dexter repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
