Leominster won the last time they faced Algonquin Regional, and things went their way on Friday, too. The Blue devils managed a 14-10 victory over Algonquin Regional. That was the first win for the Blue devils since their win over Westfield seven weeks ago.
The win improved Leominster's record to 2-7. This is the second loss in a row for the Tomahawks and nudges their record down to 3-5.
The Blue devils will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Fitchburg at 10 a.m. ET in four weeks. Fitchburg is also hoping to continue their momentum after a win three weeks ago. As for the Tomahawks, they will go up against Westborough at 10 a.m. ET. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
