Seattle Christian hasn't had much luck against Bellevue Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will challenge the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Ten must be Seattle Christian's lucky number: they beat Sultan with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Warriors blew past the Turks 10-3. With that win, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Jack Hilburn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two). He was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Seattle Christian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 4-6 when he doesn't).
Hilburn wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Young, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Young has posted over his last 11 contests. Logan Schindler was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.
Bellevue Christian's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Montesano on Monday. The Vikings' pitcher stepped up to hand Cascade Christian a 10-0 shutout. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.
Like Seattle Christian, Bellevue Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Dayton Rogers. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Rogers has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Mason Hill was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Cash Erdman, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
Bellevue Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cascade Christian only posted an OBP of .273.
Bellevue Christian's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Seattle Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Seattle Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bellevue Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Seattle Christian suffered a grim 11-3 defeat to Bellevue Christian when the teams last played on Thursday. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
