The Desert Oasis Diamondbacks will face off against The Meadows School Mustangs at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Desert Oasis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.
Desert Oasis is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Nevada's top teams: Bishop Gorman, who was ranked third  at the time (Desert Oasis was ranked sixth). The Diamondbacks came up short against  the Gaels on Friday, falling  16-8. The Diamondbacks haven't had much luck with the Gaels recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
  Sebastian Frye and  Colin Walsh stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Frye  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, while  Walsh  went 2-for-5 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.
Meanwhile, The Meadows School won against Sunrise Mountain  on Tuesday with 15  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The Mustangs didn't even let the Miners on the board, marking the Mustangs' second-straight  15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won nine games by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
 Killian Seip made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Aiden Robertson was  incredible,  going 1-for-2 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Aiden Brown was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 The Meadows School was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .588. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 The Meadows School's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-11. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Desert Oasis, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.
