Rosie Montes posted a new career-high in runs on Saturday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Perhaps even more impressive was her lead-up to Saturday's matchup, in which she improved her previous run total for three consecutive games.

Montes' strong effort led Thurston over Springfield and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Colts are a perfect 9-0 against the Millers going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
